looks for patterns of identity fraud drawing from
thousands of normal and fraudulent behavior patterns and billions of
data records.
It prevents potentially fraudulent activity before it occurs, providing

opportunity for further investigation and positive identification prior
to
exposure to the financial or safety risk

Defender continuously monitors information related to a
specific
identities or large pools of identities and will recognize those
identities
which have been compromised
As identity fraud usually precedes other types of fraud (such as credit
card
fraud), this type of proactive alert system is critical to mitigating
the
extensive, and expensive, damage perpetrated after an identity is
stolen and
manipulated. Given the considerable lag between when an identity is
compromised

Where
an identity group is found to contain intentional manipulation, all
identities in that group are flagged as “at-risk”. Additional

group.
